Dr. Harry Henshaw

Dr. Harry Henshaw is a musician with 11 years of piano training as a child. Dr. Henshaw developed and utilized his therapeutic audio recordings initially in his private counseling practice and with several of the treatment centers and programs that he has consulted and worked with in both mental health and addiction settings. Dr. Henshaw uses his musician skills and training as a psychotherapist to develop audio recordings that will help individuals to learn how to experience a very deep state of relaxation, sleep better and also improve their confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Henshaw believes that therapeutic music can be a very powerful tool to help individuals to change and transform their lives.

Dr. Harry Henshaw believes that stress and anxiety are issues that many individuals experience on a daily basis. Dr. Henshaw’s audio recordings have been designed to help heal and alleviate the negative consequences of stress and anxiety by helping people to learn how to experience a deep state of relaxation and also to begin to transform the underlying causal issue which is negative thinking. Therapeutic music can be a very powerful tool when used alone to help an individual to transform their life. When therapeutic music is mixed with positive affirmations the healing benefit and power of positive affirmations is enhanced and strengthened.  

In addition to being a musician, Dr. Harry Henshaw is also a licensed psychotherapist who provides counseling and treatment services for substance abuse, drug addiction, alcohol addiction and mental health issues like anxiety, depression, stress, emotional trauma and low self-esteem. Dr. Harry Henshaw has worked in inpatient hospitals, residential treatment programs and outpatient counseling centers in both the mental health and substance abuse fields in Illinois, Massachusetts and Florida. Dr. Harry Henshaw earned his doctoral degree from Boston University in Human Development and Counseling and has been a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and psychotherapist in the State of Florida for over 36 years. Dr. Henshaw is also a certified Clinical Supervisor in the State of Florida.
